Dill pickles

Dill Pickles

9-11 pounds of pickling cucumber

Optional: white onion, zucchini, yellow squash, and/or peppercorns (whole, black)

Mrs. Wages Dill pickle mix

3 1/3 cup white vinegar

7 1/3 cup water

Put pickling cucumber, Mrs. Wages Dill pickle mix and any of the optional ingredients you choose in sterilized canning jars. Evenly pour the white vinegar and water mixture over the ingredients leaving 1/2 inch head space.

Process quarts for 10 minutes and pints for 5 minutes.
